Planet Hulk Worldbreaker #1

I am very thankful I had the money to purchase the Planet Hulk Worldbreaker #1 comic book. Peter saw this comic book and asked if I was interested. He knew I like a lot of the Planet Hulk content from the past. I decided to give Planet Hulk Worldbreaker #1 a shot. The first thing that stuck out to me about this comic book is a lot has happened to the Hulk since I read comic books decades ago. He has a son, and Amadeus Cho also became a Hulk. There will be spoilers in this review.

There are ads found throughout Planet Hulk Worldbreaker #1. There is a picture of the next month's cover near the end of Planet Hulk Worldbreaker #1. The first part of Planet Hulk Worldbreaker #1 is twenty pages of content about the main story. We are on SAKAAR one thousand years after the events of Planet Hulk. There is a religious group hunting down those with the blood of the Hulk in them.

After the main story there are ten pages in Planet Hulk Worldbreaker #1 devoted to Skaar. Who is Skaar you might be asking? Skaar is the son of the Hulk. He is on Earth and he is looking for his dad. He runs into She-Hulk and a beast from SAKAAR. She-Hulk recommends they fix the stone ship and Skaar can go and see his dad. I am not clear what the time frame is in this story. Is it also one thousand years after the events of Planet Hulk?

Planet Hulk Worldbreaker #1 makes us believe that Bruce Banner is still alive. I suppose we will find out in future issues of this comic book. The issues families will have with Planet Hulk Worldbreaker #1 are violence, lack of attire, and more. There is also some philosophy within Planet Hulk Worldbreaker #1. Say you stop Wildebots from attacking a village. You save a thousand people. There was some weird energy in the bots that gave the people cancer in fifty years.

I thought about the question posed in Planet Hulk Worldbreaker #1. The people got to live fifty years longer. The Wildebots would have killed them then and there if Hulks had not intervened and destroyed them. How is that better? Planet Hulk Worldbreaker #1 also asks if the Hulk is a hero or a monster. The religious group in Planet Hulk Worldbreaker #1 thinks he is a monster and is going around spreading that message.
