Planet of the Apes #3
SCORE: 64
I am beginning to sour on this comic book series. The first two
issues were interesting with some issues. Planet of the Apes #3 shows me
the franchise is getting worse. I also suspect some radical far left
lessons are being preached. Like the apes are being used to reference
some other group of people. Maybe I am totally wrong. I will read a bit
more and find out for certain. There will be spoilers in this review.
The setup for Planet of the Apes #3 is extremely strange and weird.
There are five pages of comic book content, then a page for recap, a
page for the credits, ten more comic book pages, and finally a separate
five page story at the end. There are twenty pages of comic book content
within Planet of the Apes #3. There are also advertisements found
throughout the Planet of the Apes #3 comic book.
The Storm breaker page in Planet of the Apes #3 is a new one for me.
That won't last long as I will read it in multiple different Marvel
comic books released in the same time frame. This gentleman is all about
the new Avengers title. I have read and reviewed the first one and it
does not impress me. I guess he will admit to his failure in the future.
I will probably not stick around for that Avengers series much longer.
The issues families will have with Planet of the Apes #3 are violence,
blood, and more. The first five pages is devoted to a nice man having to
take human bodies to a mass dump grave site. He is listening to someone
on the radio making a lot of sense about the source and cause of this
disease that is killing off humanity. The government is horrible in
Planet of the Apes #3. They are protecting ape lives over human lives.
The ten page story is about this hateful UN soldier murdering humans to
protect apes. They are on a boat, and near the shore when a lot of boats
are coming after them. I have said this before - if the super majority
rose up they could easily overthrow an evil government. The apes plan on
violently attacking the humans going forward. The final five pages is
the second part about the smartest ape on the planet. Human equipment is
teaching him.
