SD Gundam Battle Alliance
SCORE: 64
Gundam is one of those anime that I have not gotten into. I may have
seen an episode here or there decades ago on Cartoon Network. I was very
curious about SD Gundam Battle Alliance. I thought this was a Fortnite
kind of a video game but I was wrong. SD Gundam Battle Alliance is more
of an action adventure hack and slash role playing video game. We must
save the timeline in a simulation from break points where the wrong
characters are appearing.
If you are a big time fan of Gundam then you might like SD Gundam Battle
Alliance. I have no clue who any of these characters are. They could
have all kinds of things wrong and I would not know it. I also found SD
Gundam Battle Alliance to be on the boring side. The fighting is so long
and dull. Sidestep dash away from an enemies attack, and then attack a
couple of times yourself. Repeat and rinse over and over again. You can
also shoot a few times and wait for your gun to reload.
The issues families will have with SD Gundam Battle Alliance are
violence, blood, bad language, alcohol and more. You must also agree to
all of the Bandai Namco Entertainment’s terms before being able to play.
I could only find information on physical copies of SD Gundam Battle
Alliance from the Asian region. We are not good enough in America to get
a physical copy. Imagine someone buys this game digitally and then
disagrees with a term. What can they do? These companies need to start
treating the consumers better and allow for changes to their legal terms
for using this product. Do you buy a hamburger and McDonalds tells you
the only way you are allowed to eat it?
We get short squat mechs in SD Gundam Battle Alliance. The graphics of
the areas look nice. The areas we can fight are sectioned off pretty
bad. I had an enemy mech box me into an area in a city. The walls that
limit us only show when we go into them. We can see more city on the
other side. This was a pretty frustrating mechanic that made SD Gundam
Battle Alliance even more difficult to play.
The voice acting is in Japanese only. So we have to read the text to
find out what is going on. I have written about how lazy this is of
these companies. Bandai Namco has a long history of doing this. We got
SD Gundam Battle Alliance thanks to Xbox Game Pass. Otherwise I would
not have even tried SD Gundam Battle Alliance.
