Slime Rancher 2

Slime Rancher 2 lets us continue the adventures of Beatrix LeBeau. This time she goes across the sea to Rainbow Islands. I hope she finds Noah’s Ark on Rainbow Island. There are new and different slimes to catch, coral, feed, and develop in Slime Rancher 2. I noticed some disturbing changes within Slime Rancher 2 too. We can no longer feed the slimes as much as we want as quickly was we want. What did Slime Rancher 2 do?

We must wait so long after feeding the slimes. They get full and that is all they can eat for so long. Slime Rancher 2 added the horrible app mechanic to the game which really hurts it in the long run. Some of us want to burn through certain sections of the game as quickly as we can. We do not want to make Slime Rancher 2 a daily chore we have to do. What am I on a farm having to milk the cows, get the chicken eggs and more? I like how it was done in Slime Rancher. Maybe that issue will be fixed in the future. Slime Rancher 2 is a downloadable game right now that is still being updated. I was able to play Slime Rancher 2 thanks to my big brother having Xbox Game Pass.

The slimes seem a lot more different and animated in Slime Rancher 2. The speed of being able to move around is decent in Slime Rancher 2. We can easily find and grow food for our slimes. We can also easily build up the ranch while we are playing Slime Rancher 2. Remember to keep certain slimes away from other slimes. You would not put an anaconda in a cage with a rodent would you? The outcome is pretty predictable. The same goes for Slime Rancher 2. This game can teach families to be careful what animals they put together.

Slime Rancher 2 looks nice and it sounds nice. The first person perspective works well for Slime Rancher 2. The gameplay area is large enough to keep most gamers engaged for a few weeks at the very least. Just remember the progress will be slower in Slime Rancher 2. I like the different additions to the slimes like ears and whatnot. The slimes are generally happy go lucky looking in Slime Rancher 2. The bunny slimes are especially fun to look at in Slime Rancher 2.

Monomi Park made changes to Slime Rancher 2. Some of them are for the better and others are definitely not. At least that is my personal opinion. I may try to check out this game in the future and see what changes have been made. I want to be able to feed the slimes as fast as possible to progress through the game faster. Hopefully the dev is listening.
