Sonic The Hedgehog #241
SCORE: 77
For me it is the time of the month that I can slowly start to dig
into that pile of older comic books that are awaiting my attention. One
of these decades (I hope) to get totally caught up. Sonic The Hedgehog
#241 is the latest one to enter my arena. I had little idea what had
happened before this Archie Comics comic book. Thankfully Sonic The
Hedgehog #241 starts with a previously page that explains what has been
going on. There will be spoilers in this review.
I learn all about Naugus in Sonic The Hedgehog #241. He is some magician
emperor character that is currently the king of this town. Naugus has a
mutation problem that is causing him all kinds of problems. Naugus
spends almost all of Sonic The Hedgehog #241 trying to find someone else
he can use as a host. In other words he wants their body so he can find
a solution to the mutation problem. Although I am not sure his original
body will be around much longer.
Naugus eventually does find someone that he can take over. The sad thing
is he takes over his apprentice (Geoffrey St. John) who has been triyng
to help him all this time. The apprentice even has an interesting idea -
ask for help. I am not sure if Geoffrey St. John is alive or dead at the
end of Sonic The Hedgehog #241. There is a bit of violent content within
Sonic The Hedgehog #241. As previously mentioned there is also some
magical content.
The other part of Sonic The Hedgehog #241 is Sonic, Tails, and Amy are
on the chase of Eggman. Dr. Eggman is in the Death Egg Mark2. Sonic and
his pals are closing in on them so Dr. Eggman drops a Krudzu to slow
them down. The team must fight this plant like thing that is taken over
the body of a robot. Sonic and his friends are delayed and too late to
save Albion. Dr. Eggman hits and essentially destroys that city. Sonic
The Hedgehog #241 ends with that shocker.
There are twenty pages of comic book content within Sonic The Hedgehog
#241. There are plenty of references to other books or archives.
Advertisements can be found throughout the Sonic The Hedgehog #241 comic
book. There is also some fan art, and Sonic Grams near the end of Sonic
The Hedgehog #241. I find myself interesting in this comic book more and
more. The ads for the Mega Man comic book also interest me. I have read
some of them already. If I can get the time and money I will look into
more of these.
