Sonic The Hedgehog Scrapnik Island #2

I am very thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the Sonic The Hedgehog Scrapnik Island #2 comic book. There will be some spoilers in this review. The plane that Tails and Sonic crash landed with took some damage. Their robot friends decide to help them. Sigma, Mecha Sonic, and Sonic the Hedgehog go into the Death Egg to find the part. They run across Mecha Knuckles. Mecha Knuckles is defending the Death Egg and even attacks Sonic the Hedgehog. Mecha Sonic saves Sonic the Hedgehog.

Something goes wrong with Mecha Sonic near the end of Sonic The Hedgehog Scrapnik Island #2. He takes damage from Mecha Knuckles, sees Eggman and then kills Mecha Knuckles. Sonic The Hedgehog Scrapnik Island #2 ends with Mecha Sonic attacking Sonic the Hedgehog. The part was found as well. The Badniks may have turned good in Sonic The Hedgehog Scrapnik Island #2 but it looks like they can just as easily be turned bad again. It is a shame because Sonic the Hedgehog had apologized and made peace with Mecha Sonic a few pages earlier.

The main issue families can have with Sonic The Hedgehog Scrapnik Island #2 is violence. It is on the light side though. Some of the art within Sonic The Hedgehog Scrapnik Island #2 starts pretty rusty. It gets better and then dark as we go into the Death Egg. Tails makes a device so the Badniks voices can be heard. There is some humor there as all of these little ones are saying hello. They must be excited that they have a voice. Sigma is very appreciative of Tails for this very nice gesture. It means a lot to them. It is neat to see these characters work together.

Sonic The Hedgehog Scrapnik Island #2 contains twenty pages of content, next months cover, Sonic Letter Squad, alternate covers for this issue, and a few advertisements. I think kids that can read will get a kick out of Sonic The Hedgehog Scrapnik Island #2, especially if they like Sonic the Hedgehog. Mecha Sonic has been taking care of a flower in Sonic The Hedgehog Scrapnik Island #2. He has a dream of planting it in real soil when they can get off of the Death Egg. Sonic is impressed with that dream.

Sonic's foot is still injured in Sonic The Hedgehog Scrapnik Island #2. He should have stayed back and rested. He was going stir crazy just waiting. If he had been patient and trusted the robots then Mecha Knuckles would not have attacked them. At least that is my understanding. I figure Sonic the Hedgehog will get out of this trouble in the next issue. Sigma may come to his aid. I plan on continuing to read this comic book after Sonic The Hedgehog Scrapnik Island #2. This is turning into an interesting side adventure. I hope Sonic and Tails can get the Badniks off this island.
