Spider-Man 2099 Dark Genesis #2
SCORE: 63
This comic book series is getting worse and worse with each issue. I
know there are only two issues to currently go off of. Thus far
Spider-Man 2099 Dark Genesis is not impressing me. Spider-Man 2099 Dark
Genesis #2 is throwing in more characters which is interesting but also
feels like all these throw ins and not that devoted to the story. There
is one character intro in Spider-Man 2099 Dark Genesis #2 that makes
perfect sense to me. There will be spoilers in this review.
Miguel has been injured and is taken to a Ghost Rider that is only a
hologram. I have no clue what is going on there. Ghost Rider cannot help
so he brings in Blade. Blade is referenced as a zombie in Spider-Man
2099 Dark Genesis #2. Things have really changed in Marvel. Spider-Man
2099 gets healed and wants to go after Carnage. This Carnage needs to
consume blood. The thought is to trap Carnage and deprive him of oxygen.
I guess that will work.
There are twenty page of comic book content within Spider-Man 2099 Dark
Genesis #2. Advertisements can be found throughout this comic book. None
of the ads interested me personally. I also read the Spotlight before so
that is a bit of a wasted page for me. There is one page of content and
then we get the credits page with a light recap in Spider-Man 2099 Dark
Genesis #2. Moon Knight going after Venom makes perfect sense to me.
We also meet Halloween Jack in Spider-Man 2099 Dark Genesis #2. He wants
to help Carnage. He gets decapitated and puts his head back on somehow.
The issues families will have with Spider-Man 2099 Dark Genesis #2 are
blood, gore, violence, and more. Life has little value in Spider-Man
2099 Dark Genesis #2. Carnage completely takes over his host in
Spider-Man 2099 Dark Genesis #2. There is also this reference to the
hive in this comic book.
I am pretty disappointed in this series thus far. It is pretty messed
up, and feels really small. There are references in Spider-Man 2099 Dark
Genesis #2 to things in the past but I have no idea what they are
referencing. I guess Spider-Man 2099 and Ghost Rider 2099 had some beef
in the past. It would have been nice if Spider-Man 2099 Dark Genesis #2
had a reference to what comic book or graphic novel that was in.
