Spider-Man No Way Home
SCORE: 70
I am very thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of Spider-Man
No Way Home on DVD. I heard quite a few things about this movie. Most of
the things I heard about Spider-Man No Way Home were positive. A lot of
people told me this movie is pretty epic. Please note there will be
spoilers in this review. I have to agree that there are plenty of epic
moments within Spider-Man No Way Home.
Peter Parker has been outed as Spider-Man. He must now deal with the
celebrity status, attacks, hate, and love from all kinds of corners
while he just wants to make it through his senior year in high school.
We see Matt Murdock in Spider-Man No Way Home which is really cool. He
helps Peter Parker with the legal issues. Those subside but he is a
controversial figure and he and his friends are denied by every single
college. Think of Kyle Rittenhouse - nothing was done wrong but the
person is rejected for controversy. The same thing happens to Peter and
his friends in Spider-Man No Way Home.
Peter goes to Dr Strange to get help. Dr Strange remember the forgetting
spell. Sadly Peter interjects and messes up the spell. Dr Strange
contains the spell. A little leaked out and some villains from past
Spider-Man movies start appearing in Spider-Man No Way Home. They attack
Spider-Man but he is not their Spider-Man. This also brings in the two
other Spider-Men from past Spider-Man movies. This is where Spider-Man
No Way Home gets really epic. It is great to see Tobey Maguire and
Andrew Garfield back in that Spider-Man role. They also mentor Tom
Holland quite a bit in Spider-Man No Way Home.
Dr Strange wants to capture and send back the people that do not belong.
Peter wants to try and help them. Spider-Man fights Dr Strange and winds
up winning. He releases the villains and works on fixing them. He
actually fixes Doc Ock, and then the others decide to bail. A fight
ensues and Aunt May is murdered by the Green Goblin. Spider-Man is also
hunted for being a menace. There is a lot of property damage to be fair.
The three Spider-Men come up with cures and a plan to save the villains.
They then draw the villains in for another massive fight and cure them
one at a time. There is plenty of humor within Spider-Man No Way Home.
There is also violence, blood, bad language, and more. Plenty of cool
references are given in Spider-Man No Way Home. The heroes wind up
winning but the spell gets released. The multiverse starts to open up
and allow others into the MCU main. Peter requests that Dr Strange make
a new spell to have everyone forget him. That will fix it. He does and
Peter is now alone with no one knowing who he is.
It takes 148 minutes to watch Spider-Man No Way Home. I really enjoyed
this movie. It is one of the better Spider-Man movies around. Definitely
the best on Tom Holland has been a part of. There is some controversial
moments here and there. A woke moment or two. There is also some
innuendo in Spider-Man No Way Home. The biggest mistake Peter made was
to let the villains out. He could have cured them from their cells.
