Star Trek #3

I am thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the Star Trek #3 comic book. This issue had me very interested since Q is on the cover. After reading Star Trek #3 I am a bit confused by a lot of different things. There will be spoilers in this review. There are twenty pages of content, next month's cover, alternate covers, and then advertisements within Star Trek #3. The recap on the back of the front cover can help new readers to this series.

T'Lir is heavily focused upon in Star Trek #3. He is a Vulcan in Starfleet. He is compared to Spock in Star Trek #3. Although he has some secret and it looks like there is some major damage to his chest. There are of course other options like he has some parasite or he is not actually a Vulcan. I am not sure where this series is going with him. The odd thing to me is Q puts his trust in Captain Sisko.

The issues families can have with Star Trek #3 is violence, peril, false gods, bad language and more. Q tests Captain Sisko in Star Trek #3. This is in fact in line with what Q has done in the past. Q does mention he hoped some other entities would have tried to stop the one going around killing really powerful aliens. Why don't they get involved directly? They should be able to immediately stop this killer.

Ads can be found throughout Star Trek #3. There are some interesting informational pages within Star Trek #3 on certain characters in Star Trek #3. Q gives Captain Sisko his next destination - T'Kon. Q also tells Captain Sisko to not let them down. We still do not know whom he is trying to stop and what their motives are. They just go around threatening people like radicals on the far left of the political spectrum.

I am very curious to find out who is behind the attacks of these powerful entities. Star Trek #3 does not bring us any closer to that. It does sound like Q and the other powerful beings have an idea what is coming for them. Why not instantly decimate their attacker? I am curious how many more issues there will be in this Star Trek comic book series. Star Trek #3 gives us another guest and a new destination.
