Star Trek #5
SCORE: 60
I am extremely thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the
Star Trek #5 comic book. I found out something really exciting near the
end of the Star Trek #5 comic book as well. The credits page in Star
Trek #5 is the back of the front cover. That page contains credits as
well as a recap as to what has been going on in this comic book series.
There will be spoilers in this review. Some good and bad things happen
in Star Trek #5.
The issues families will have with Star Trek #5 is violence, blood,
false gods, and more. There are twenty-two pages of content within Star
Trek #5. Advertisements can be found all throughout Star Trek #5. There
is going to be a Star Trek Defiant comic book that seems to follow a
similar storyline to what I have found in this Star Trek series. Maybe
they should have waited a bit before rehashing this content.
The Federation and Klingons are fighting it out as the Klingons are
getting close to this giant sleeping creature. The Klingons want to
destroy it. The Federation are trying to stop them. The aliens the
Bajorans call the Prophets contact Captain Sisko. He is given a plan to
destroy the Klingon ship and everyone on it. There is a small problem
with that plan. Worf's son is on that ship. The Emperor Kahless is also
on the Klingon ship. Destroying them would cause a new war with the
Klingon empire.
The exciting news is the next issue will conclude this storyline. I hope
it also totally concludes this comic book series. Star Trek #5 has some
action in it. In some ways Star Trek #5 is better than some of the
previous issues. Worf getting relieved was interesting to see. Captain
Sisko does come up with a new plan. He goes down to that space station
on this giant alien and puts up a shield to protect it from the
Klingons.
The giant alien wakes up in pain in Star Trek #5. It decides to go after
Earth because it read their minds and know where they are from. If that
alien can read their minds then it must know they were trying to save
it. They must also know there are all kinds of races on the Federation
ship. Why not go after the Klingon's? After all the Klingon's were the
ones that actually attacked it. Star Trek #5 has a bit of a disconnect
with logic.
