Star Trek #7
SCORE: 64
I am so blessed to have been able to purchase, read, and review the
Star Trek #7 comic book. This comic book issue is a bit of a
transitionary one. In some regards Star Trek #7 feels like a leave
episode. The crew of the U.S.S. Theseus go to Deep Space Nine. I did not
know that Captain Sisko had a wife and a young daughter. I knew about
Jake. I have not gotten far enough in the Star Trek Deep Space Nine
television show to know these things. There will be spoilers in this
review.
Captain Sisko is not happy with the wormhole aliens. They took years
from him. The Klingons are using the Orb of Destruction to kill off
these other aliens. It is up to Captain Sisko to find the other missing
orbs. Captain Sisko is not happy about cleaning up their mess. They
should have cleaned it up a long time ago is his stance in Star Trek #7.
Why does he have to clean up their negligent. I can understand his
frustration.
They are no closer to finding the orbs after the events of Star Trek #7.
I have a feeling we will be taking a detour for at least one more issue.
There are two interesting pages within Star Trek #7. The first one is
the Memory Alpha page, and the other is the special report page. We find
out about Lieutant Shaxs in Star Trek #7. He is a Bajoran that is tasked
with finding the missing orbs. Starfleet has handicapped him in that
regard since he believes they are in Cardassian space.
The issues families will have with Star Trek #7 is violence, false,
gods, bad language, and more. Captain Sisko takes his crew to Cardassia
Prime. Dominion ships are attacking the current government. The crew of
the U.S.S. Theseus save the day and protect the government. Can you
guess what their reward is in Star Trek #7? Captain Sisko is captured
and put on trial. The next issue should be about his trial. I will
probably learn more about the television show I did not finish watching.
There are characters in Star Trek #7 drinking alcohol with the plan of
getting drunk. Others are socializing on Deep Space Nine. There are
twenty-two pages of comic book content within Star Trek #7. We see one
of next month's covers. We also get some ads, and then the covers for
the current issue. The recap is on the credits page which is also the
back side of the front cover. Star Trek #7 is a bit better than the last
issue.
