Star Wars The Mandalorian Season Two #1
SCORE: 74
After I read the comic book adaptations of the first season of Star
Wars The Mandalorian I was very curious to see what would be done with
the second season. Would they add to the existing numbers or reference
it as season two. Technically season one did not have season one on it.
The same thing was done with Star Wars The Mandalorian Season Two #1.
The comic book just says Star Wars The Mandalorian #1. Which is what was
in season one. I decided to differentiate in my reviews. There will be
spoilers in this review.
I did notice an advertisement in Star Wars The Mandalorian Season Two #1
referenced the first season in the previous books. There are forty pages
of comic book content within Star Wars The Mandalorian Season Two #1.
Advertisements can be found throughout this comic book. The cost of Star
Wars The Mandalorian Season Two #1 is $6.99. Most twenty page comic
books I purchase nowadays are $3.99. So we do save one dollar if that is
the baseline. I have also seen $2.99 twenty page comic books.
The main issues families will have with Star Wars The Mandalorian Season
Two #1 is violence. There is also some darker colors on some characters
clothing that looks like it could be blood to me. A giant sand dragon
monster gets put down in Star Wars The Mandalorian Season Two #1 thanks
to a lot of explosives. The credits page in Star Wars The Mandalorian
Season Two #1 has a recap that will help readers understand the story.
Mando does a good job being a peacemaker in Star Wars The Mandalorian
Season Two #1. The humans and the sand people work together to take out
this giant beast. Star Wars The Mandalorian Season Two #1 also sets the
tone for the theme. Mando is quested with finding baby Yoda's people -
the Jedi. So Mando is trying to find another Mandalorian that might know
where the Jedi are. He does get to where another Mandalorian is but not
what he thinks.
A lot of wheeling and dealing happens in Star Wars The Mandalorian
Season Two #1. I also noticed you need to pay close attention to what
Mando says in certain spots. He will not kill a certain character. It
does not mean he will leave them in a bad situation where they will die.
A deal is made for the armor which means Mando must work really hard to
help multiple groups. It is neat Marvel is publishing this show in the
comic book form.
