Starcadia Quest #3

I am very thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the Starcadia Quest #3 comic book. I am also thankful I had the time to read and review Starcadia Quest #3. As ya'll know the first issue did not impress me much. The second issue improved upon things a little bit. The third issue may be the last issue of this series. I did some research and was unable to find any information on this comic book series continuing.

There will be spoilers in this review. Starcadia Quest #3 feels so disconnected in terms of the story. There is a recap on the back cover of Starcadia Quest #3. Then we get into the story and we see the characters that are invading this planet. From there we go to the team that this comic book series has been following. We find out about the Peeks. These one eyed creatures grow huge when there is fighting nearby.

Guess what has been happening in Starcadia Quest #3? The main characters have been fighting off robots. Then the invasion begins. We also meet a friendly robot that guides the characters to the wrong ship. He gets confused from time to time. The Peeks attack and the heroes must combine the two ships to de-age them. Once that is done they are no longer a threat. That is until Octocolds are dropped on the planet.

What are the heroes to do in Starcadia Quest #3? They replicate all of these holograms on the planet to make the invaders think they are outnumbered. Then the crew bluffs the invader into thinking they are real. So the bad guy leaves. The crew gets a M.E.D.A.L. Which looks a bit like a walkie talkie. The comic ends with: "The End(?)". I have not seen another Starcadia Quest comic book for months.

This other team arrives and brags about completing the mission our heroes were supposed to do in a previous issue. There is some violence, and lying within Starcadia Quest #3. Many of the names in Starcadia Quest #3 are cringe worthy. For example Hannah Lone has been by herself for years. Her back story is interesting though. I hope this is the end of this disconnected story with twenty pages of content.
