Stargirl The Lost Children #1
SCORE: 70
I am thankful I had enough money to purchase the Stargirl The Lost
Children #1 comic book. This will be a six part limited series. How do I
know this? It actually tells me so on the front cover. I love it when
limited series let us know things like that. It can be a pain looking it
up online and trying to find information on how long a series will run.
Thankfully Stargirl The Lost Children lets us know right from the start.
There will be spoilers in this review. I took a chance on Stargirl The
Lost Children #1 hoping it would be decent. Since the television show
with Stargirl in it is not as bad as the other DC Super Hero television
shows I had some high hopes for Stargirl The Lost Children #1. The
Golden Age of heroes is referenced within Stargirl The Lost Children #1.
There is also quite a bit of content about sidekicks in this comic book.
Ads can be found throughout Stargirl The Lost Children #1. There are
twenty pages of mainline content found within Stargirl The Lost Children
#1. The ending has a bit of a twist and encourages readers to find out
what is next. A character talks to another character but we are not
shown who is actually talking near the end of Stargirl The Lost Children
#1. I am very curious to see who is referenced at the end of Stargirl
The Lost Children #1.
The twist ending within Stargirl The Lost Children #1 is a sidekick who
is an older gentleman has regressed back to the age of a youth after
putting on a ring. Stargirl is in all kinds of trouble with her parents
for ditching classes and following through on a lead they feel is not
worth the time. Courtney Whitmore (aka Stargirl) is very disobedient in
Stargirl The Lost Children #1. She is onto something concerning missing
kids, but that does not make it right.
The other issues families can have with Stargirl The Lost Children #1
are lack of attire, and violence. The first few pages of Stargirl The
Lost Children #1 feel like they are part of really old comic books. It
then gets better as we meet up with Courtney. Emiko is the girl that is
the bad influence according to her parents. There are references to
other books in Stargirl The Lost Children #1. These characters have a
history I am not versed on.
