Stargirl The Lost Children #3
SCORE: 72
I have worked my way through my pile to read Stargirl The Lost
Children #3. This comic book moves the story forward a bit. Stargirl The
Lost Children #3 picks up very closely to when the last issue in this
series ended. There are still some mysteries to learn after Stargirl The
Lost Children #3. I have plenty of questions as well. Please be aware
there will be spoilers in this review of Stargirl The Lost Children #3.
The first interesting item from Stargirl The Lost Children #3 is we meet
the character behind kidnapping the sidekicks that land on this island.
The name of this character is The Childminder. She is keeping the kids
safe until the foster dad can arrive. According to the end of Stargirl
The Lost Children #3 that should happen in the next issue. Emiko has
been captured and is in jail. Judy Garrick the daughter of one of the
Flash characters is in the next cell over.
Stargirl goes with the sidekicks that assisted her and finds a castle
full of other lost children sidekicks. Here is my question related to
that. Why don't they attack The Childminder as one large group? All of
them should be able to overpower her. Plus most of them have some form
of powers. It makes little sense to me that they do not organize and
save the other kids that are locked up. Plus they could find out what is
keeping them on the island.
The issues families can have with Stargirl The Lost Children #3 are
violence, blood, lack of attire, and more. Stargirl The Lost Children #3
contains twenty pages of content with advertisements found throughout
the comic book. I am a bit dismayed with the quality of this comic book.
I was turning pages very carefully and this page separated from the rest
of the comic book. I know this can happen with older comics but a new
one. That is pretty lame.
Stargirl tries to fly up above the trees on this island. Some attack hit
her and another character that tried to warn her about this rash course
of action. The other sidekicks in Stargirl The Lost Children #3 save
both of them since the jolt caused them some harm. I really like the
pacing in Stargirl The Lost Children #3. We learn quite a few things and
the storyline moves forward in a meaningful way.
