Stargirl The Lost Children #5
SCORE: 70
Things are really speeding up in Stargirl The Lost Children #5. That
is to be expected since there is only one more comic book left in this
limited edition series. I like how Stargirl explains what has been going
on in the first few pages of Stargirl The Lost Children #5. There are
twenty pages of content with advertisements found throughout the
Stargirl The Lost Children #5 comic book. There is also a DC Nation
Interview of Lucy Lui on the second Shazam movie. There will be some
spoilers in this review. I felt like Stargirl The Lost Children #5 is a
decent read.
Stargirl and many of the sidekicks are fighting to get into the castle
and save their friends. They have a secondary goal in Stargirl The Lost
Children #5. This secondary goal is to get free and get back to their
own timelines. Many of this sidekicks were lost to history. Meaning no
one knows who they are. That would be quite the bummer. They are safe on
this island that is outside of time. There is even an old man in
Stargirl The Lost Children #5 that reverted back to his younger side
kick kid form. Not sure how that happened.
There is some violent content within Stargirl The Lost Children #5 as
characters with super powers fight off robots, and one another. Stargirl
has to get between two characters battling because one is selfish.
Stargirl then defuses the situation by claiming she failed. Technically
the team mates fight were the ones that failed but I guess she knew what
she was doing. The whole Stargirl story in Stargirl The Lost Children #5
is only half of it. There is another half that relates to Emiko. Emiko
helps Judy Garrick get free in Stargirl The Lost Children #5.
Judy Garrick winds up helping many of the other kids get out of their
cells. They run into Stargirl and her team. Then the combined forces run
into Childminder and Hourman in Stargirl The Lost Children #5. Hourman
references he is working for someone else in Stargirl The Lost Children
#5. I am very curious to see who his boss is. Stargirl is not even sure
that is Hourman. So there could be a swerve coming up in this series in
the last issue. Stargirl The Lost Children #5 gives us lots of action
and progress in the story.
The paper still feels weird in Stargirl The Lost Children #5 to me. I
guess they are going for an older feel. Many of the ads within Stargirl
The Lost Children #5 are about the Dawn of DC. I know there is some kind
of major reset going on in the DC Universe. I have not really gotten
into it that much. I expect Stargirl and Emiko to get free at the very
least in the next issue. I am curious if the other kids will get free. I
also wonder if the kids have a spy in their midst. Lord willing I will
be able to find and purchase the last issue of this limited edition
series.
