Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FCBD 2023 is another one of the free comic book day comics I was able to pick up for free. The cover reminded me of the Saturday morning cartoons comics I have been reading. Although I had all kinds of problems finding the last one. I still have not found one to purchase locally. I guess they did not order enough at our local comic book stores. There will be spoilers in this review.

There are two stories within Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FCBD 2023. The first story is actually from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #1 comic book. Well ten pages of it anyways. That means Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FCBD 2023 contains half of what is in another comic book that was released many months ago. I honestly find that pretty lame. IDW Publishing did not even provide anything new.

The second story within Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FCBD 2023 is ten pages of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This is another comic book series named Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Complete Adventures. It went on sale in early June. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FCBD 2023 actually came out before then so that is handy for those that want a sampling of that comic book. I suspect the ten pages in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FCBD 2023 are copied from that comic book.

There is some mild humor within Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FCBD 2023. I am not a fan of the art style in the second comic book in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FCBD 2023. I can tell that I will not be purchasing and reviewing that comic book. The Turtles look really weird in that one. Especially when we compare it to the first one. Ads can be found throughout Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FCBD 2023. Most of them relate to the TMNT.

I like that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FCBD 2023 gave us twenty pages. I do not like that it was just rehash. I understand these companies are trying to promote their books and make sales. At the same time when they give us something for free and then expect money for the same content I get a bit surly. I have read worse free comic books in the past. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FCBD 2023 is on the lower end in my opinion.
