Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #5
SCORE: 77
There was a bit of confusion recently and Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #4 was purchased but it was the
limited run series and not the new series. So I accidently got a
duplicate. I believe the correct Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday
Morning Adventures #4 has been purchased but not made it into my pile
yet. That is why Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning
Adventures #5 is being reviewed before the fourth one.
There will be spoilers in this review. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Saturday Morning Adventures #5 contains a recap news page, then a page
devoted to the cast of characters, then twenty pages of comic book
content, a page devoted to the next issue, alternate covers of this
issue, and finally some advertisements. The recap brought me up to speed
as to what is currently going on in this series.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #5 lets us know
that two turtles went to the swamp to find out about this
other-dimension portal. The remaining turtles in Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #5 are teaming up with two of the
Punk Frogs. I feel like I should have some idea who these frogs are but
currently coming up with a blank.
The main heroes in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning
Adventures #5 are Leonardo, Michelangelo, Genghis Frog, and Napoleon
Frog. Baxter Stockman kidnaps April O'Neil to lure the turtles into his
trap so he can enact his revenge. As you might expect Baxter Stockman
fails at his revenge plot. He will be back in the future to try again.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #5 also treats
us to what Shredder is up to.
There is a bit of humor within Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday
Morning Adventures #5. The whole food conversation was interesting. I
like how Master Splinter educated his student to not insult the food
choices of others. That was a very nice teachable moment within Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #5. I plan to continue
to read this comic book.
