Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #3
SCORE: 79
This comic book series is one of those that I am eager to get near
the top of my pile to read after it is shown in the FFG Haul monthly
live streams. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures
#3 is the latest to get purchased, read and now reviewed. These are one
shot comic books that are a lot like the cartoon series from the 1990s.
I am enjoying them quite a bit. There will be spoilers in this review.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #3 starts with
an interesting mystery. There are blackouts in areas of the city and
then some vigilante justice. Criminals are tied up and left for the
police. April O'Neil is on the case as an investigative reporter. If
only there were investigative reporters like her in our world that are
also on major television stations. I guess that is too much to ask for.
The Turtles use their computer to project where the next attack will be
based on the past attacks. They back up April only to find it is Casey
Jones. There are an accident and Casey Jones got super powers. Anyone
that hits him finds out how dense he has become. He also has some
lightning powers. He is sucking the power from the local grids to use
his powers. The Turtles find the origin of the powers and get an
antidote.
The problem in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures
#3 is Casey Jones does not want to give up his powers. There is also a
ticking clock on when his powers can be removed. It must be done by
midnight in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #3.
April actually convinces Casey that he is a law breaker by stealing all
of that power. He did not pay for that power. So Casey decides to take
the antidote.
There are twenty pages of content, next issue, alternate cover pages,
and then some ads within Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning
Adventures #3. There are plenty of corny jokes within Teenage Mutant
Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #3 as well. This comic book
felt like a TMNT cartoon from that era. The art is nice. There is some
violent content within Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning
Adventures #3.
