The Amazing Spider-Man #21

There is a little story behind why we purchased a copy of The Amazing Spider-Man #21. Peter was out with his friends and stopped by the comic book store. He was willing to use our shared document to find new comic books for the FFG Haul live stream, and reviews. He ran across this cover for The Incredible Hulk What if Goofy Was Exposed to Gamma Rays? This is also related to 100 years of wonder. This Disney cover looked interesting. I told him to purchase it.

When I finally got around to checking out this comic book I found out it is a variant cover of The Amazing Spider-Man #21. I have since purchased the next two issues to get a better idea if I want to continue this series or not. There will be some spoilers in this review. The Amazing Spider-Man #21 is a good point to pick up because a lot of weird things have happened in this universe and secrets from what caused them are being explained. Mary Jane has two kids and Peter Parker pushed all of his friends away.

The issues families can have with The Amazing Spider-Man #21 are lack of attire, blood, violence, false gods, shacking up and more. Scribble Man comes back and then The Amazing Spider-Man #21 takes us back a year to explain things. This is good for me because I have zero clue what has been going on. I know a bit from Gold Goblin but I am not sure if this story is about Peter Parker or his clone Ben Reilly. I will need to get the Dark Web graphic novel to find that out.

There are twenty page of content within The Amazing Spider-Man #21. I am not counting two pages that only contain: "ONE YEAR EARLIER," in white font on a black background. There is also a page devoted to emails that were sent in. Those are mainly from die hard fanboys sucking up. Another page within The Amazing Spider-Man #21 is about one of the people who works on these comic books. He spouts some of that radicalized climate propaganda that makes so many us groan. Some people are easily brainwashed when they do not do the research themselves.

Peter Parker and Mary Jane are marked by Scribble Man. They are also transported to somewhere or somewhen else. I am not clear yet on that. The Amazing Spider-Man #21 does not provide the answers on that. The kids that Mary Jane has are complete brats. WOW! They need some serious discipline. I guess I cannot expect concepts like that from radicalized far left propaganda companies like Marvel. I can hope they open their eyes and stop acting so childish.
