The Amazing Spider-Man #30
SCORE: 68
Things finally are starting to turn back toward the light within The
Amazing Spider-Man #30. I am very thankful I had the money to purchase a
copy of this comic book. I am also thankful for the time and platform to
write and publish this review. There will be some spoilers of The
Amazing Spider-Man #30 in this review. How will Spider-Man behave now
that he is bonded to the robot arms of Doc Ock? Will the goblin serum
mess up Gold Goblin?
The arms have quite the effect on Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man
#30. In fact he starts to have some anger issues and calls people dolts.
This happens multiple times with multiple people. I guess there are some
residuals of the bad doctor in the arms. The whole serum into Norman
Osborn is a total non-issue. His body already had more of that poison in
him and he has been able to grow past it. The real problem for him was
the evil previously inside him.
Spider-Man winds up saving Gold Goblin just in time in The Amazing
Spider-Man #30. From there Spider-Man stops Doctor Octavus. The arms do
rescue Doc Ock before Spider-Man and the Gold Goblin can take the bad
doctor to jail. At the end of the day the heroes realize they were given
a gift. They were given a distraction from events in previous issues of
this comic book. Plus the bad doctor wanted them both dead and they are
alive.
The issues families can have with The Amazing Spider-Man #30 are
violence, blood, lack of attire, false gods, and more. It is neat to see
the four legs on Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man #30. I also like
how they are painted red to match Spider-Man's costume. Advertisements
can be seen throughout The Amazing Spider-Man #30 comic book. There are
twenty-one pages of comic book content in this book.
I can barely comprehend some things that happen in The Amazing
Spider-Man #30. For example Norman Osborn aka the Gold Goblin stops
Spider-Man from killing Doctor Octavus. Think about that character arc
for an instant. Gold Goblin is really beat up in The Amazing Spider-Man
#30 too. Doctor Octavus admits the Norman Osborn outsmarted him. He only
told him because he thought he was going to kill him.
