The Avengers #4

As of right now it is not a matter of if but a matter of when I will stop reading this comic book series. I would like to see how this storyline pans out with the Ashen Combine. I have some idea of where this storyline is going. There will be spoilers in this review. The Avengers #4 has the heroes losing. Iron Man, Thor, and Wanda are all having problems in The Avengers #4.

Where is Captain Marvel? Falcon and Black Panther lay bombs on the ship and plan on destroying it. Falcon flies around and does not find any living beings so he is okay with the ship being blown to bits. At the end of The Avengers #4 there is some voice that talks to them. I suspect it will be the computer system behind the ship. Maybe it is sentient in some way, shape, or form.

The issues families will have with The Avengers #4 are false gods, violence, blood, magic, bad language, and more. I am not a fan of the artwork within The Avengers #4. I am not a big on the coloring or tones. The Avengers #4 contains twenty pages of comic book content with advertisements found throughout. There is also a page devoted to letters called Avengers Assemble. They are all rah-rah messages.

We are treated to some information on the next issue in The Avengers #4 as well. The Avengers #4 also contains some pages devoted to John Romita. None of the advertisements within The Avengers #4 interested me. I am not sure how much longer I will read this comic book series. It continues to get worse. I am interested in Kang the Conqueror but it may be awhile before we get back to him.

I expect the heroes will eventually turn it around and win in a future issue of this comic book. Maybe they should have teamed up against the enemies one at a time instead of going one on one all over the place. What do you think about that idea? Would you send the whole team after one of them at a time or go one on one? The villains are made to look very over powered in The Avengers #4.
