The Expanse Season Four

I am very thankful I received a copy of The Expanse Season Four on Blu-ray for my birthday. I am continuing this science fiction series that contained some very interesting content in past seasons. The Expanse Season Four takes a turn for the worse in a great many ways. I also did some research and found out that the first three seasons were on SyFy. The last three seasons were on Amazon Prime. There will be spoilers in this review.

The Expanse Season Four feels much smaller than the previous seasons. The previous season ended with a gold rush for all of these planets through the ring was about to commence. The Expanse Season Four starts with a blockade that is stopping almost everyone from going through. Captain James Holden goes a planet where some belters went to after sneaking past the blockade. There is also an Earth ship there with scientists and a really mean commander named Murtry. The Earth ship is part of the Royal Charter Energy company.

The Expanse Season Four deals with some interesting concepts. The humans on the planet from the belt attack the humans from Earth. Both of them have a claim on this planet since there is some ore worth a lot of money. Who gets to decide who goes where in the ring? Are the belters squaters? Alien artifacts get turned on by Miller and proto molecule. The proto molecule is trying to find out what happened to its creators.

The issues families can have with The Expanse Season Four are violence, blood, gore, bad language, lack of attire, enticement to lust, sex outside of marriage, sexual deviancy and more. There are plenty of people that are straight up murdered in The Expanse Season Four. There is no judge or jury, just an executioner. Amos continues to be a bad man that is directed by Holden quite well. Bobbie Draper joins criminals in The Expanse Season Four.

The three faction system continues in The Expanse Season Four. There is Earth, Mars, and the Belt. These three defend their own and attack the others. There is a terrorist in The Expanse Season Four that is rising to power. He even kills off a very important and well liked character. I suspect Holden will take care of him in the future. I like how Holden captures this guy to stand trial for his crimes in The Expanse Season Four.
