The Rising of the Shield Hero 7
SCORE: 69
I am so thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the The Rising
of the Shield Hero 7 manga book. I am also appreciative of having the
time to read and review this book. There will be spoilers in this black
and white review. The Filolial Queen encourages Naofumi to make peace
with the others heroes. If the heroes continue to fight the Filolial
Queen will kill all of them so new heroes could be brought to the world.
Naofumi has been lied about, attacked, and hunted by the other heroes.
He is not that interested in peace with those other heroes.
The issues families can have with The Rising of the Shield Hero 7 are
violence, blood, bad language, threats, lies, false accusations, lies,
false gods, and more. Naofumi agrees to try and make peace. Can you
guess what happens once he meets one of the other heroes? The Spear Hero
attacks the Shield Hero and accuses him of killing off the other two
heroes. A lot of The Rising of the Shield Hero 7 is showing how
exasperated Naofumi is with people who do not think things through. He
is also tired of constantly correcting other heroes who are jealous of
his skill.
The church of the three heroes winds up attacking both the Spear Hero
and the Shield Hero. It helps the Spear Hero get a small taste of what
the Shield Hero has been going through all of these other manga books.
The Queen's Shadows had saved the other two heroes and they show up so
all four of them can work together. At least that is where The Rising of
the Shield Hero 7 ends. I have seen the anime so I know they will team
up and work together. There is still some bad blood between the heroes
going forward.
An interesting section of The Rising of the Shield Hero 7 is when Filo
must fight the Filolial Queen. It is becoming apparent that Filo will
become the Filolial Queen herself at some point in the future. There is
plenty of action within The Rising of the Shield Hero 7 from start to
finish. In fact there is very few pages where we can catch our break
from the action. I like that personally because it makes it easier and
quicker to read through. The words used in The Rising of the Shield Hero
7 are important.
There is also some humor within The Rising of the Shield Hero 7. Some of
Naofumi's answers had me rolling. Like when he replied with: "Huh?" to
"lets team up." The irony must have been thick for Naofumi at that
point. After being betrayed, lied about, and falsely accused one of the
people believing all of the lies wants to work with him. Why? Because he
was being lied about and was going to die. The Spear Hero finally
realized that he needed the Shield Hero. After all of those insults he
finally asked for help.
