The Smurfs 65th Anniversary FCBD 2023
SCORE: 80
We were able to get quite a few free comic books on free comic book
day because we went to two comic book stores and spent quite a bit of
money at one of them. Everything purchased turns into a review so we
will get use out of it. The Smurfs 65th Anniversary FCBD 2023 is one of
the free ones I noticed and felt like picking up. I did not know what to
expect from this comic book that was not as tall or wide as the others.
There will be spoilers in this review. The Smurfs 65th Anniversary FCBD
2023 starts with an art page where we see drawings of different
characters. Then we get the credits page. The three stories within The
Smurfs 65th Anniversary FCBD 2023 are "A Kiss for Smurfette," "The Smurf
from Outer Space," and "The Smurf and Robot X-III." There are twenty
pages of comic book content within The Smurfs 65th Anniversary FCBD
2023.
The art in The Smurfs 65th Anniversary FCBD 2023 is good. The panels are
on the small side and feel like they are from the past. At least that is
how The Smurfs 65th Anniversary FCBD 2023 feels to me. There is some
cartoon violence, and comic mischief within The Smurfs 65th Anniversary
FCBD 2023. There is also some magic and creatures from other planets.
Gargamel is so abused in The Smurfs 65th Anniversary FCBD 2023.
The first page of comic book content within The Smurfs 65th Anniversary
FCBD 2023 feels like a one shot page to me. It does relate to Smurfette
and a kiss. Greedy Smurf heard that Smurfette was giving out candy so he
brings her some flowers to get some candy. Smurfette is all out of candy
so she gives him a kiss instead. Greedy Smurf is not impressed. The
irony is all the other Smurfs wanted a kiss.
The last two stories within The Smurfs 65th Anniversary FCBD 2023 are
connected. We meet the alien BRTT first and then a robot is chasing the
alien in the second story. The king sent the robot after BRTT because
his daughter wanted to marry him. The king relents and decides his
daughter can marry BRTT after all. The robot stops its rampage.
Smurfette always cries at weddings. I wonder if she ever got married.
