Transformers Infiltration #2
SCORE: 74
I have been working on my comic book pile in terms of reading and
reviewing. A few months back Peter and I were at a local comic book
store and he noticed Transformers Infiltration #2. I saw it and thought
it was the mainline Transformers I have been reading. It was the second
issue so I thought that was pretty cool. It was also only one dollar.
What I did not realize is this is an offshoot. The Infiltration word at
the bottom denoted this. I thought that was the storyline. Live and
learn.
There will be spoilers in this review. I did some research after reading
Transformers Infiltration #2 and found out there are issues zero through
six. I missed a little bit before reading this issue. I am not sure if I
will try and purchase the other issues to this series or not. The
credits page has a nice recap that brought me generally up to speed.
There are aspects of Transformers Infiltration #2 that surprised me.
The biggest thing about Transformers Infiltration #2 is we are on Earth.
On top of that there are humans that are involved. The Decepticons have
a stealth protocol in Transformers Infiltration #2. That is broken as
the Decepticons attack. The humans stole some computer and Ratchet is
helping them escape the Decepticons. There is also a dead human the
police find in Arizona. I am not sure what that is about.
Ratchet winds up in big trouble at the end of Transformers Infiltration
#2. Ratchet has violated numerous rules, and parts of their code of
conflict. I am not really sure what Ratchet's response means. I am also
a bit confused by the last frame of the Transformers Infiltration #2
comic book. There are twenty-two pages of content within Transformers
Infiltration #2. The next issue has a little two page preview and the
front cover shown in Transformers Infiltration #2. There is also a Sneak
Peek at Transformers Beast Wars The Gathering #1.
There is some violent content within Transformers Infiltration #2.
Thankfully the violent content is more in line with the cartoon from the
80s and not nearly as bad as the mainline Transformers comic book. The
art is ok in Transformers Infiltration #2. I like how some of the
motions are shown in the frames. When I get the temporal and financial
resources I may check out more comics from this limited run series.
