Ultimate Invasion #1
SCORE: 60
Sometimes I wonder why I decide to check something out for a review.
There is currently no clue in my brain as to why I chose to purchase
Ultimate Invasion #1. This comic book cost $8.99 and we get around forty
pages of comic book content. I am not sure why Marvel did not separate
this into two comic books. I also have no clue what is going on in
Ultimate Invasion #1 either. I do not know the main bad guy character.
There will be spoilers in this review.
The issues families can have with Ultimate Invasion #1 are bad language,
violence, lack of attire, theft, deceit, lying, blood, gore and more. At
the end of Ultimate Invasion #1 we are treated to some behind the scenes
of the next issue. I purchased that issue. I plan on reading this series
even if I am not clear who the main villain is. I do comprehend he wants
to leave this one world and go to another one.
Ultimate Invasion #1 starts with this team breaking into a secure
facility. They think they are getting all kinds of money for this. They
are breaking out a naked man who has these scar over his right eye. He
merges the people together who are there to save him and they become a
fake version him. That way it looks like he is still in jail. How did he
do that? Heroes show up and realize the bad guy got away.
The heroes are one step behind in Ultimate Invasion #1. This bad guy
builds a machine where he can return to his world. The portal will then
randomize so the heroes cannot follow him. Before this evil character
leaves he invites Miles Morales to come join him. As you could expect
Miles Morales decides to stay right where he is. Does that mean this bad
guy is from the same world as Miles?
The epilogue in Ultimate Invasion #1 is very interesting. This evil
character stops a radioactive spider from biting Peter Parker. I have no
clue what world this is happening in. The start of the epilogue shows
6160. Does that mean anything to anyone? It does not mean much to me
personally. There is so much about Ultimate Invasion #1 that makes
little to no sense to me. I hope it explains more going forward.
