Ultimate Invasion #4

The good news for me is Ultimate Invasion #4 is the last one in this series. The bad news is there is some series that will be coming after Ultimate Invasion #4. I will get into that in just a little bit in this review. There will be spoilers in this review. Ultimate Invasion #4 includes fifty pages of comic book content. There are a few advertisements found within Ultimate Invasion #4. This comic book cost $8.99.

The issue families can have with Ultimate Invasion #4 is language, violence, and more. I think The Maker character in Ultimate Invasion #4 is a Reed Richards. What is strange is it looks like he has another Reed Richards as his hostage wearing a Dr. Doom mask. Or maybe that is supposed to be Dr. Doom. Ultimate Invasion #4 is not very clear on these things. Howard Stark proves to be very treacherous in Ultimate Invasion #4.

Ultimate Invasion #4 has someone take the mask of Kang the Conqueror. Sadly this information is not shared with the reader. Howard Stark opens the portal so the forces of Kang the Conqueror can attack The Maker. The thing is everyone is then trapped into this bubble. Who wins? Does anyone? Does everyone in there die? Ultimate Invasion #4 is not really clear on what happens. I do know that Tony Stark becomes Iron Lad and is working with Dr. Doom.

The other nations are trying to figure out what to do in Ultimate Invasion #4. Should they take over North America? Should they sit and do nothing? What does the future hold for this strange world? I wound up with more questions at the end of Ultimate Invasion #4 than the beginning. Did anything get resolved in Ultimate Invasion #4? I am not really sure. I am still baffled by all of these pages that feel like a wasted storyline.

Ultimate Invasion #4 does tell me at the very end that Ultimate Universe is next. I know this comic book should introduce the new Marvel Ultimate Universe. Thus far one of the ultimate stuff has impressed me. In fact they are overpriced, confusing, and do not feel very ultimate to me. I will decide if I continue this line or not. I am more interested in the 2099 Marvel universe to be blunt.
