Wild Cards The Drawing of Cards #4
SCORE: 73
I am so thankful I had the money to purchase the Wild Cards The
Drawing of Cards #4 comic book and the time to read and review it. This
comic book has readers continue along the path of Croyd Crenson. He
meets with Dr. Tachyon to find out about his condition. If you have not
read any of the previous Wild Cards The Drawing of Cards comic books or
even the Wild Cards books then you should know that Croyd Crenson shifts
between looks and powers as he sleeps. There will be spoilers in this
review.
Croyd Crenson is getting sleepy but he does not want to miss his
sister's wedding. He wants to hear his sister say: "I do" before she
gets married. Croyd does what he can to stay awake. The thing is he
winds up changing physically anyways. He turns into a giant gargoyle
looking creature and ends Wild Cards The Drawing of Cards #4 sleeping on
the roof of a building. He should not have pushed himself to stay awake
so long.
There are twenty pages of content with advertisements strewn throughout
Wild Cards The Drawing of Cards #4. Croyd Crenson commits crimes in Wild
Cards The Drawing of Cards #4 to get money for his sister's wedding. He
also helps a Joker and receives help in return later in the comic book.
The issues families can have with Wild Cards The Drawing of Cards #4 are
violence, lack of attire, murder, theft, symbols for bad language and
more.
Wild Cards The Drawing of Cards #4 explains what the alien virus does
when it reacts to a human being. The majority of the people draw the
Black Queen. The Black Queen is instant death. Another percentage of the
people draw the Joker card. The Joker card will permanently disfigure
someone. There are a small percentage of the people that draw Aces. The
Aces are like super humans. They have a range of different powers.
Croyd Crenson does good and bad things in Wild Cards The Drawing of
Cards #4. He is a villain at times and a hero at other times. His
sleeping power and changing his appearance mean he can commit crimes and
never pay the price for them. He leaves no evidence that can be traced
to him when he wakes back up. He can stay awake longer. Wild Cards The
Drawing of Cards #4 shows how he is using different drugs to keep
himself going longer.
