X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #1

The X-Men comic books I have read since coming back to the comic book industry have not been good. In fact they have been pretty bad. I knew this when I decided to check out X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #1. The concept of this comic caught my eye. There have been references to what happened in X-Men Days of Future Past but we never saw what happened to many of these characters. There will be spoilers in this review.

The issues families must be informed of related to X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #1 are violence, blood, gore, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. There are thirty pages of comic book content within X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #1. The Stormbreaker page is all about someone behind the Incredible Hulk comic book. That did not really appeal to me. The Bullpen Bulletins is about Bryan Hitch. This was a much more interesting page in my opinion.

The cost of X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #1 is $4.99. There are some horrible things within X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #1. Spider-Man gets beaten to death. Even though he has the power to save himself he does not want to hurt the people beating him to death. We are taught in X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #1 to hate that mob for hating mutants. The liberals do not apply that logic to the BLM rioters, looters, and murderers.

There are some interesting philosophical discussions within X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #1. Magneto gets nuclear weapons so he can defend mutants against countries killing them. Charles Xavier goes to stop Magneto. Magneto makes the point that Xavier did nothing to stop all of these things that happened to harm mutants. Yet he stands up against Magneto. There is an interesting point about when and where you stand up against something.

The logic behind wanting to know who has what powers in X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #1 reminds me of Marvel Civil War. There are characters in Marvel that could be considered weapons of mass destruction. They can do all kinds of damage. You need to license a gun, but no license if you can mind control anyone near you. Why do mutants need such special treatment? Magneto references what happened to the Jews under Hitler and Stalin. There is some depth within X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #1.
