X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #2

I just finished reading X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #2. This comic book is not as thought provoking as the last one. There are some aspects to and in X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #2 that I did think about. The comic itself did not really bring up those thoughts or topics. There will be spoilers in this comic book review of X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #2.

The issues families will have with X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #2 are blood, gore, violence, lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language, and more. X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #2 likes to talk about how humans hate them. I don't really see the hate. I see people that are scared of dying when two mutants are fighting. The opinion on human life is very low in X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #2.

X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #2 likes to repeat the mantra of: "I was born this way." I know there are groups in our world that make lifestyle choices that use the same mantra. How far do we take that extreme to? A murdered or rapist can claim they were born that way and should be able to be whomever they want to be. Is that a wise course of action? Do we let murderers and rapist go free to cause all kinds of pain and suffering? The argument holds little to no water with me.

Ads can be found throughout the X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #2 comic book. There are two pages of content within X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #2 and then we get a two page recap and credits page. At the end of X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #2 we get to see one of the front covers to the next issue. I wish Marvel would show all of the variant covers in their comic books like other companies do.

We see a lot of people gather for Jean Grey's funeral. We learn about the damage that happened to Scott Summers. He lost his eyes and tear ducts so he cannot even cry for his wife. Magneto shows up and makes peace with the X-Men. Magneto also decides to go his own way. Which is good since most of the X-Men at the school are killed off by a Sentinel in X-Men Days of Future Past Doomsday #2.
