X-Men Legends #4

X-Men Legends is getting worse by the issue. X-Men Legends #4 is a great example of modern day radical far left extremist zealots trying to redefine the past and those characters through their current delusions. X-Men Legends #4 starts with a recap on the credits page. We are also told that X-Men Legends #4 happens after the events of Longshot #1-6. The Longshot comic book from 1985. This is the second part of another two part story from the past. There will be spoilers in this review.

The issues families will have with X-Men Legends #4 are violence, blood, and more. The attacks on the system God put in place for humanity are excessive in X-Men Legends #4. The sexism against men is horrible in X-Men Legends #4. Many of the things that are said and done in X-Men Legends #4 do not fit specific characters. Wolverine is a great example of this. Entitlement mentality is also found in X-Men Legends #4. Someone with no experience thinks they should be a leader.

Wolverine and Kitty Pryde are battling one another in a war movie that Mojo is shooting. Wolverine is able to shake the brainwashing and help Kitty Pryde come to her sort of right mind. With many of the things Kitty Pryde says I am not sure she was ever completely in her right mind. Spiral saves the X-Men and decides she is going to take down Mojo. That is not shown in X-Men Legends #4 though. Spiral also goes on a sexist rant at one point in X-Men Legends #4.

There are twenty pages of content within X-Men Legends #4. Ads can be found throughout this comic book. The Bullpen Bulletins did not really reach me that much. I have very little in common with that person. The X-Men forget what happened but they did not forget. It is like in their subconscious or something like that. In fact the conversation between Wolverine and Kitty Pryde reference what happened to them in the Mojoverse.

Longshot steps on a tripwire at one point and it looks like he might die. The X-Men save Longshot and it is all good. I do feel like Longshot got no resolution in X-Men Legends #4. He came to the Mojoverse for a specific reason. That whole plot point got lost and forgotten in X-Men Legends #4. The writing feels lazy in X-Men Legends #4. The only real effort in X-Men Legends #4 was put into radical far left preaching on their out of touch with reality beliefs.
