X-Men Legends #6
SCORE: 60
I finished reading through X-Men Legends #6 earlier today. I got a
surprise when I finished reading. The reason for that is going to be a
bit of a spoiler. There will be spoilers in this review. X-Men Legends
#6 is the last issue in this comic book series. Three stories were told
in all. Each story went across two issues. X-Men Legends #6 finishes off
the story from Bishop. He is shown in a much more sympathetic light in
X-Men Legends #6.
At the end of X-Men Legends #6 Professor X is willing to help Bishop get
justice. We learn all about Fitzroy in X-Men Legends #6. We also learn
about Edgar in X-Men Legends #6. Both Bishop and Edgar have their own
plans for setting Fitzroy free. Edgar wants to increase his own power.
Bishop is trying to free innocent humans who are stuck in jail because
they are related to a mutant. This includes children.
The issues families can have with X-Men Legends #6 are blood, violence,
lies, deceit and more. There are twenty pages of content within X-Men
Legends #6. Ads can be found throughout X-Men Legends #6. If you want to
continue the stories after X-Men Legends then X-Men Legends #6 provides
the trade paperbacks where the stories continue. X-Men Legends #6 also
advertises other X-Men related comic books that can be read.
The interesting thing to me about X-Men Legends #6 is all of the
backstabbing. Each of these main characters has their own plans. Both
Bishop and Edgar threaten Fitzroy. At the end of the day Fitzroy ignores
Bishop and kills Edgar. All of these dangerous criminals also escape.
Two of Bishop's friends wind up dying fighting off the criminals in
X-Men Legends #6. It is part of the reason he is so hard.
Bishop blames himself for the deaths of Malcolm and Randall. He set
things in motion. To be fair Edgar was also working a similar angle. The
break out would help him ascend in power. The time table change should
have clued in Bishop. Edgar did play that off pretty well by claiming
Bishop changed the time table. A great way to move suspicion away from
yourself if you think about it. The rest of the X-Men say nothing at the
end of the story and just leave. I find that odd.
