X-Treme X-Men #2

You guys know how I give a new comic series I am trying five issues before deciding to get rid of it or not. X-Treme X-Men #2 is the second issue of this series I have read. This series is not endearing itself to me one bit. X-Treme X-Men #2 is just as bad as the first issue. I am definitely on the side of not reading this series after the issues I have already purchased. Will I even make it to five with this one? There will be spoilers in this review.

The recap on the credits page makes X-Treme X-Men #2 sound very interesting and exciting. What an amazing world where mutants are marshals and helping deal with other mutants. There are also protests against mutants in X-Treme X-Men #2. The thing is most of X-Treme X-Men #2 is all about hunting down, and fighting Ogun. The spirit of this assassin Ogun is able to possess people. He can then leave when the X-Treme X-Men get there to take him down.

Wolverine gets in trouble with this tactic at one point within X-Treme X-Men #2. Phoenix wants to defeat Ogun on the psychic plane. The others are not sure that is a good idea. Things take a bit of a turn as Scrap is introduced in X-Treme X-Men #2. I am not sure if Scrap is a giant robot or cyborg. Scrap wants to destroy the mutants for genetic purity. He trashes Sage and Bishop in X-Treme X-Men #2.

The whole idea of the bad guys being for Purity seems twisted and backwards. Who would be fighting for dirty and disgusting thing? X-Treme X-Men #2 is a bit confusing there. I know X-Men in the past have been guilty of attacking Christians. I wonder if that is part of what is going on in X-Treme X-Men #2. I am not clear one way or the other at this point in time. The art in X-Treme X-Men #2 is good. There is also plenty of action.

The issues families can have with X-Treme X-Men #2 are violence, blood, bad language, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. Ads can be found throughout X-Treme X-Men #2. There are twenty pages of content within X-Treme X-Men #2. There is also a nice picture showing the next issue of this comic book. It looks like Wolverine and other X-Treme X-Men will be fighting Scrap. I suspect Scrap is partially robotic. I am not sure how he is so big and just human.
