Young Justice Targets #3

I am so thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the Young Justice Targets #3 comic book. This is a six issue story arc that will complete after that. Young Justice Targets #3 is starting to get more interesting in some aspects. In other aspects Young Justice Targets #3 is less family friendly than the previous comic books. There will be spoilers in this review. Young Justice Targets #3 starts out with Queen Perdita on a news show giving the readers some recap to what has been happening in this comic book series.

There are ads that can be found throughout the Young Justice Targets #3 comic book. As the previous issues there is fifteen pages of main story content and then five pages of a memory flashback that relates to the current characters. The villain assumed behind this plot to kidnap the queen was Count Vertigo. Young Justice Targets #3 blows that out of the water and floats Lex Luthor. Why would Lex want to do this?

Robots are found in a mine. Why go to this mine? Well five people in commas had last been seen at that mine. These power suits attack the heroes. The thing is they are just robots. The issues families can have with Young Justice Targets #3 are violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language, and more. The queen also goes missing in Young Justice Targets #3. It is obvious she is an imposter.

I wonder if Lex Luthor is actually behind this. Did he want to setup his own puppet in that country? I am not clear what Lex Luthor gains from the actions in this limited run comic book series. Maybe future issues will explain that to us. I have a few of them already in my pile awaiting my time and attention. Beast Boy has good instincts in Young Justice Targets #3 in my professional opinion.

A telepath is used in Young Justice Targets #3 to read the mind of a henchman to learn much needed information. Is that an abuse of power? What about his right to privacy? Those kinds of questions come to me as I read entertainment like Young Justice Targets #3. For me Young Justice Targets #3 is slowly starting to slip and slide. I am noticing how things are degenerating in Young Justice Targets #3.
