Young Justice Targets #5
SCORE: 67

I am very thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the Young
Justice Targets #5 comic book. Superboy is at the mercy of the brand new
and different Metallo. We also see that Queen Perdita of Vlatava is lost
somewhere that is dark. That first page sort of gives us a little bit of
a recap. There are fifteen pages of story and five pages of a memory
within Young Justice Targets #5. Ads can be found throughout this comic
book. There will be spoilers in this review of Young Justice Targets #5.

This new Metallo explains that he was a meta human with self healing
abilities. This sounds like a pretty handy skill to have. He thought he
was a freak and Lex Luthor helped him out. He wanted to help out Lex
Luthor. He grew to hate Superman and Superboy because he feels they
betrayed Lex Luthor. I am honestly not sure where that came from. There
must have been something in DC Comics that happened that Young Justice
Targets #5 references. It has a small news report about Lex Luthor being
		guilty of cloning Superman.

The issues families can have with Young Justice Targets #5 is violence,
blood, gore, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. Alpha team
shows up while the two other teams are fighting off the bad guys. They
try to rescue Queen Perdita but run into some resistance they were not
expecting. Three of the heroes in Young Justice Targets #5 look to be
dead. One has a gaping hole through their chest cavity. I wonder if this
is some illusion or reality in Young Justice Targets #5. Superboy is
also on the ropes thanks to Metallo.

The staff of Stargirl gets broken in Young Justice Targets #5. It is
looking pretty dire for the heroes. Although it is always darkest before
the dawn. There is only one more issue left in this series so I expect
it will turn around before everything is said and done. The new Metallo
gives his backstory and explains the plan of Lex Luthor. He is in one of
those villain monologue modes where they think they have won so they can
explain their whole complicated and complex plan. The Incredibles
		pointed this concept out.

Count Vertigo makes an appearance in Young Justice Targets #5. So does
Queen Bee. I am a bit surprised the Alpha Team was not prepared to deal
with these villains. I am also confused as to why they did not just
leave the way they came in. Young Justice Targets #5 is a bit on the
depressing side. The art is good and there is plenty of good plot found
within Young Justice Targets #5. I still am not sure what the end goal
was for Lex Luthor unless it is to kill Superboy. Plus we have not seen
		Lex yet.
