Young Justice Targets #6
SCORE: 65
I am so glad to finish off the Young Justice Targets comic book
series with Young Justice Targets #6. I am very thankful I had the money
to purchase a copy of this comic book. Young Justice Targets #6 went
exactly where I thought it would on almost every single front. There was
one thing in Young Justice Targets #6 that shocked and surprised me. I
will get into that in just a little bit. Ads can be found throughout
Young Justice Targets #6.
There will be spoilers in this review. The heroes faked out the villains
with the fake death of three of their members. When time came for
someone else to be killed then the heroes turned on the villains. That
was just after the villains explained their entire plan. Then the other
heroes who were having issues in these fights absolutely decimated the
villains really easily. In fact it felt a bit too easy to me. Metallo
was stopped, and ultimately saved by letting him keep the kryptonite.
There were some things in Young Justice Targets #6 that I did now know
about. For example Superboy and Miss Martian are married. I had no idea
that had happened in DC Comics. Like the previous issues there are
fifteen pages of story content and then five pages of a memory. In the
memory I found out that Kid Flash died as well. A lot has happened that
I was not aware of. The issues families can have with Young Justice
Targets #6 are violence, blood, magic, false gods, and more.
The heroes mess with Lex Luthor's mind somehow in Young Justice Targets
#6. He looks like a vegetable when they are done with him. There was no
trial, and no official justice against Lex Luthor. Instead Young Justice
Targets #6 encourages vigilante justice. It makes the heroes look
abusive. The Bizarro Superman clone goes back to the Justice League. I
think that is what the backwards talk referenced.
The paper is not very good in the Young Justice Targets #6 comic book.
There is a page devoted to Kevin Conroy in Young Justice Targets #6.
There are also multiple pages devoted to the Lazarus Planet crossover
event. They are really trying to sell that. The plan of the villains is
absolutely brilliant in Young Justice Targets #6. All in all this comic
book series did not impress me. I am glad they stopped it at six issues.
I think they could have told the story in five issues.
