Adventure Time #46

I found Adventure Time #46 at the McKay's store in Nashville for $4.75. This comic book originally sold for $3.99 so it is neat to see the value go up since November 2015. I have huge gaps in the Adventure Time comic books because I got what I could find. There is plenty of humor in this comic book that contains two stories. The main story in Adventure Time #46 is fourteen pages.

The second story in Adventure Time #46 is eight pages. There will be spoilers in my review of the Adventure Time #46 comic book. The first story is about Finn and Jake going on a quest when they received an alarm from their father. They go into this cave and are given all these instructions. They must save this statue. The message also implies that their dad is dead.

The duo fail the quest and the statue breaks. The issue was Jake the dog got infected with mushrooms. Finn decided to save Jake instead of the statue. When the two gets home Gata is in their house waiting on them. Gata is their sister or so she claims. The duo has no idea who she is. Gata says they must be cursed or something. Adventure Time #46 leaves the reader hanging until the next issue. By the way there is a page about the next issue near the end of this comic book.

The second story in Adventure Time #46 is called The Water Strike. Everyone in this fantasy land goes to the source of where the water comes from because none of them have any water anymore. They find these creatures behind the water are on strike because the water is being polluted. With water in the ocean and businesses using the water, they are mad because they feel overlooked.

The characters in Adventure Time #46 apologize and promise to do better. The radical far left preaching on the environment did not sit that well with me in Adventure Time #46. The whole quest in the main story was interesting. Why didn't the duo go back to the cave? They could have finished the quest after saving Jake. I guess I am the only one that thinks of things like that.
