All-Star Batman #14

All-Star Batman #14 is another comic book I bought for $1.50 at my last trip to McKay's in Nashville, TN. The original cost of All-Star Batman #14 was $4.99. I honestly feel like the original price was too high. I am very happy I got it for so much cheaper. I am also happy to keep working my way through this comic book pile one day at a time. I missed #13 of this comic book series.

There will be spoilers in my review of the All-Star Batman #14 comic book. All-Star Batman #14 wraps up both of the storylines. The first story in All-Star Batman #14 is the main one and it is twenty-two pages long. The second story is the finale of Killers-in-Law. The issues families can have with All-Star Batman #14 are violence, blood, bad language, and more. There is talk about love making you weak in All-Star Batman #14.

Batman and Alfred fight off the bad guys in All-Star Batman #14. We find out the protege of the main bad guy is actually a younger version of Alfred. His DNA was taken and a young clone was created. Batman has been injured in All-Star Batman #14, but he still fights with his body and words. The younger Alfred is convinced to attack the man that trained him. That pretty much wraps up that storyline.

In the second story in All-Star Batman #14 that takes up eight pages is about Batman making one Russian mob think another Russian mob is attacking them. There is one thing that goes wrong - there were explosives in the crate and Batman must save all the men on the boat. The daughter kills her father and then goes to Penguin looking for some information. Penguin is working with her.

All-Star Batman #14 wraps up both storylines with a nice little bow. Batman even admits he did not dig deep enough to discover the explosives and it was a mistake on his part. I am not really sure why the Alfred clone turned on his handler in All-Star Batman #14. I suppose it was a convenient plot point in All-Star Batman #14. I may look into the issues I am missing in this series at some future point in time.
