Astro Bot

There are certain games that we purchase that I want to get going on right away. Astro Bot on the PS5 is one of those video games. I got this on my streaming schedule as fast as I could. I loved every single minute of playing this video game. I even went longer on the live streams. That is a way to tell if I am into something - if I play past an hour then I do not want to stop even though I have other duties awaiting me.

There are seven different galaxies in Astro Bot. There is also the Hub World or the Crash Site in Astro Bot. There we unlock a plethora of different items. Once players have two hundred bots recovered they can fight the boss of the seventh galaxy and winning that unlocks the battle with the end boss. There are so many cool things in Astro Bot. Like bots dressed like characters from other Playstation franchises.

There are different Playstation systems in Astro Bot as well. The main ship of the Astro Bots is a Playstation 5. We must recover parts of this system to get it working again. There is an emotional moment near the end of this video game as well. I loved how things were done in the credits. I live streamed Astro Bot from start to finish. It took me around ten hours. I did not find all of the puzzle pieces or all of the bots.

There are secrets in some of the levels as well as in the galaxies in Astro Bot. There are retro rampages as well as some really challenging levels to unearth in this home console video game. I wonder if Astro Bot will get an update and have it playable on the Playstation VR 2? I loved playing Astro Bot outside of VR - compared to the previous video game on the Playstation VR.

Continuation points are liberally strewn across the levels in Astro Bot. I appreciated that because it can be really easy to die in Astro Bot. We can only take one hit before we must go back to a continuation spot. We do get three hits when fighting the bosses of the galaxies. The music and sounds are upbeat, fun and friendly in Astro Bot. In fact the music brings a smile to my face. This entire game brought a smile to my face.
