Atari 50th Anniversary Collection
SCORE: 80
I am extremely thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the
Atari 50th Anniversary Collection on the Xbox Series X. This compilation
contains over one hundred video games. There are video games that were
on the Arcade, Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 7800, Lynx, Jaguar, Atari
800, and Remastered video games. There are some previously unreleased
video games on Atari 50th Anniversary Collection.
Atari 50th Anniversary Collection does not stop with all of those video
games though. Atari 50th Anniversary Collection also contains history of
Atari, its games, and systems. There are pictures of systems, and videos
with people talking about the mistakes made in the past. There are
interesting tidbits like why the Atari Jaguar wound up dying. I was
really fascinated about what went wrong for the Atari 5200.
I had a blast live streaming Atari 50th Anniversary Collection on our
Rumble channel. I gave my opinions as a consumer. Atari kept releasing
the same games for every single system. I did not want to play Asteroids
on the Atari 2600, Atari 5200, and Atari 7800 when I was a kid. I had
also played it in the arcades. So when Atari was like buy a new system
and play the same games they lost me. Now it is interesting to go back
and play the different versions of these games.
The issues families can have with Atari 50th Anniversary Collection are
violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust, false gods, sexual
content, bad language, drugs, and more. Some games control better than
others in Atari 50th Anniversary Collection. There are some games that
made little sense to me like that Adventure II. I figured some games out
and others were still a mystery to me.
I got quite a few hours of game play out of Atari 50th Anniversary
Collection. There are some treasures in here like Atari Karts.
Cartridges for many of the Atari Jaguar games included on the Atari 50th
Anniversary Collection disc are extremely expensive. Atari 50th
Anniversary Collection is a much more cost effective way of playing
those games. Plus it is a pain to video capture on the Atari Jaguar. The
Atari Lynx games are quite the treat in my humble opinion.
