Batman #906
SCORE: 66
After reading Batman #906 I did some research on Zur-En-Arrh. I found
myself a bit perplexed by this character and what has been going on in
this Mind Bomb storyline. Batman #906 is the third part of the Mind Bomb
storyline. Since the reboot this comic book is shown as #141. Batman
#906 is the legacy number for the Batman comic books. I continue to use
the legacy numbers for review of this comic book series.
There will be spoilers in this review of Batman #906. There was a bit of
a time gap between the last two issues of this comic book series.
Zur-En-Arrh is in a robot body known as the Failsafe and trying to
replace Batman. His goal is to eradicate crime by killing off the
criminals. So a Punisher version of Batman. There is a vigilant fight by
Batman that eventually fails in Batman #906.
At the end of Batman #906 we find Batman in jail with the Joker. Both of
them got worked over pretty good by Zur-En-Arrh. There are very few
advertisements within Batman #906. We get twenty-three pages of the main
story of comic book content in Batman #906. We also get a seven page
story entitled In This Together. There are five pages devoted to the new
Bizarro storyline in Action Comics. The Jason Aaron interview is also
included in this comic book.
I am thankful I had the $4.99 to purchase a copy of the Batman #906
comic book. I wonder what damage Zur-En-Arrh is going to do going
forward. Nightwing should be looking for Batman in the near future after
the events of Batman #906. There is some blood, and violence in Batman
#906. The credits are a small part (at the top) of the second page of
comic book content within Batman #906.
The research I performed of Zur-En-Arrh helped me understand what is
going on in this storyline. I also noticed all these different versions
of Batman in that seven page story in Batman #906. There is a fight for
control of the robot body in Batman #906. I wonder if that will play out
again in the future. I was going to stop reading this comic book series
after Batman #906. I changed my mind and decided to continue on for a
bit longer.
