Batman #913
SCORE: 67
How many years will the comic books be Dawn of DC? I am starting to
question that after a couple of years. Will this entire run until they
come up with another reboot be Dawn of DC? Will they go into twilight at
some point? Batman #913 is also referenced as Batman #148 on the front
cover. This wraps up the storyline finally. I planned on stopping this
comic book after this one, but I might have accidently bought the next
one and it is awaiting my attention.
There will be spoilers in my review of the Batman #913 comic book. The
cost of Batman #913 is $4.99. There are thirty pages of comic book
content within Batman #913. There is also a six page preview of Batman
Gotham By Gaslight The Kryptonian Age. Batman #913 includes a DC Nation
Spotlight on Elseworlds. That page is sort of a checklist of upcoming
Elseworlds content. There are very few ads within Batman #913.
The issues families can have with Batman #913 are lack of attire,
enticement to lust, violence, blood and more. Batman #913 goes exactly
the way I thought it would go. Maybe I have read too many comic books.
Batman and his family fight against Zur and the robot Robin. They are
able to defeat Zur. Then the teacher must be taken down next. Batman has
a counter for everything Zur uses.
The way Zur is defeated in Batman #913 is actually interesting. Jason
Todd dies thanks to Zur attacking him. That forces the Failsafe that Zur
is written on top of to completely shut down. The Bat-family got some
Lazarus Pit water to bring Jason Todd back to life. It was actually in
his suit and would inject him right after death. So Jason Todd dies and
immediately comes back once Zur shuts down.
The military are on their way into Gotham once Barbara Gordon shuts down
the force field that stopped anyone from entering in Batman #913. The
Bat-family must high tail it out of there before they get caught by the
military. They may have saved the day but they also caused this entire
problem. Well technically Batman created this entire problem. Family is
the big winner in Batman #913.
