Batman Off-World #3
SCORE: 69
Things take an interesting turn in Batman Off-World #3. In fact my
expectations for this comic book issue were completely thrown off the
boat and deep into the water. There are twenty-four pages of comic book
content within Batman Off-World #3. The back cover and back of the front
cover are the only advertisements found within Batman Off-World #3.
There is a five page preview of Joker Year One in Batman Off-World #3.
There will be spoilers in this review of the Batman Off-World #3 comic
book. The issues families can have with Batman Off-World #3 are
violence, blood, gore, lack of attire, bad language, and more. IONE is
trying to give Batman something to live for. She does not realize that
he is on a mission and this is all training. IONE shows up at the planet
to find Batman has tamed a barbed wolf. The pack will hunt other prey
and not the villagers thanks to Batman.
Batman convinces IONE to take him back to that ship he was a slave on.
Batman builds himself a more powerful suit that has some nice electrical
looking attacks to it. Batman faces off against the head of that ship
and absolutely decimates him. It takes quite a few hits from Batman in
Batman Off-World #3. Many of the slaves on this ship are also freed in
Batman Off-World #3. IONE helps them get off the ship.
I did not expect IONE to come looking for Batman in Batman Off-World #3.
I also did not expect Batman to have already tamed the alpha of the pack
of those barbed wolves. Those two aspects of Batman Off-World #3
surprised me a bit. The alpha barbed wolf seemed to see something in
Batman and decided Batman would lead him to bigger and better prey. This
barbed wolf does get some better prey in Batman Off-World #3.
IONE kisses Batman in Batman Off-World #3. He continues to focus on his
mission though. She is not exactly happy with his decision. The end of
Batman Off-World #3 lets us know what should be coming next. Batman
wants know more about the Blacksun Mining Company. The very end of
Batman Off-World #3 shows us who is behind this company. They are pretty
ruthless acting aliens. Batman will have his hands full.
