Booster Gold 52 Pick-Up
SCORE: 72
I saw the Booster Gold 52 Pick-Up graphic novel at the local comic
book store and decided to purchase it for $19.99. There are one hundred
and sixty-eight pages within Booster Gold 52 Pick-Up. There is an
introduction page, six issues, and then some art pages. If anyone asks
me who my favorite super hero is - I will tell them Booster Gold. There
is something about him that is so real to me. He wants to be famous and
get paid. Other super heroes struggle with paying rent. Booster Gold
realizes that super heroes should be compensated for the work they do.
There will be spoilers in my review of the Booster Gold 52 Pick-Up
graphic novel. The issues families can have with Booster Gold 52 Pick-Up
are violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language,
false gods, lying and more. Booster Gold had been a joke character in
the past. Booster Gold 52 Pick-Up makes him a much more genuine and
serious character.
Booster Gold gets recruited by Rip Hunter to help save the timeline from
the damage done to it by Mr. Mind. See Booster Gold helped Rip Hunter
stop Mr. Mind and became a true and serious super hero of the timeline.
Booster Gold is about to get to join the Justice League and be a serious
hero. Booster Gold must turn down the Justice League to be a time
traveling super hero. Since it is time travel why not return to the
point in time that you left?
Booster Gold 52 Pick-Up was released back in 2008. I actually read these
back in the day before we were doing comic book, and graphic novel
reviews. I wanted to get back into this series because I am a fan of the
Booster Gold characters. I wish he was given more attention by DC
Comics. We learn about an ancestor of Booster Gold in Booster Gold 52
Pick-Up. We also meet Booster Gold's dad in Booster Gold 52 Pick-Up.
There is an interesting concept in Booster Gold 52 Pick-Up about
solidified time. Booster Gold tries again and again to stop the Joker
from crippling Batgirl in Booster Gold 52 Pick-Up. He fails and learns
that is why he cannot save his friend Ted Kord - aka The Blue Beetle.
Other Beetles show up, and they break time to save Ted Kord. How do they
save the timeline? Well Ted cannot go back to his time. I will need to
get the next graphic novel to find out more. I do not recall all of it.
