Cable #4

I am so thankful and appreciative that Cable #4 is the last and final issue in this series. The end of Cable #4 references some other comic book you can go read if you want to. Can you guess my answer? If you guessed - "I don't wanna," then you are right on target. Cable #4 cost me $3.99. There are twenty pages of comic book content within Cable #4. Advertisements can be found all throughout this comic book.

The first page in Cable #4 is a recap and credits page. There is a checklist page near the end of Cable #4 of Marvel comic books that are releasing around the same time. I am not clear as to how they are connected. I also am not interested either. I am just glad this storyline is wrapping up. There will be spoilers in my review of the Cable #4 comic book. I must say the ending of Cable #4 did not impress me.

The issues families can have with Cable #4 are violence, blood, lack of attire, religious belief of evolution, and more. The older Cable has been shot in Cable #4 but he is still alive. The younger Cable (Nate) shot him somewhere it would take a little bit to regenerate. The older Cable realizes that Nate must have some side angle he is playing. Will the older Cable respect that or come in guns a blazing.

It turns out in Cable #4 that Nate wanted to hear what the bad guy had to say. So Nate allowed him to transform into this energy being. The problem is he can no longer touch anyone physically. The virus was not spread so he cannot control anyone. He reaches out telepathically to everyone on the planet and offers them evolution. Every single person rejects him and he winds up dissipating because he spread himself too thin.

I personally do not believe that not one person on the planet would accept the offer. I know there are all kinds of mentally unstable people with all kinds of whacky beliefs. I think there would be at least a few. So the ending of Cable #4 might make sense, but it is not exactly believable. I see all of the division from the radicals on the far left and completely believe that someone would jump on that bandwagon.
