Cars #6

Whoooohooo! Here we go with another Cars comic book from 2010. This time it is Cars #6. The cross country race continues in this comic book. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Cars #6. We also get a page that is half from the editor and half about artist James Silvani. There are a couple of advertisements at the end of the Cars #6 comic book. The credits in Cars #6 can be found on the back of the front cover.

There will be spoilers in my review of the Cars #6 comic book. We go across different pairs of racers in Cars #6. Chick Hicks and Bubba run ito some issues within Cars #6. Bubba has all these fans that really like him. They have no interest in Chick Hicks though. Chick is not capable of handling that though. Jealousy comes out in Chick. There is even catch phrase cheating that is discussed in Cars #6.

There is some alien abduction content in Cars #6 involving Mack. Is it a dream? Is it real? Cars #6 is not very clear on that. It looks like it might be real, but I can see how it could go either way based on the content within Cars #6. Alien abduction is a pretty fringe topic for Cars #6. It is also strange to put something so scary into a comic book for kids. I wonder if the writers of this comic book considered that.

Filmore looks really lazy in Cars #6. It just reminds me of stoners I have known in my lifetime. They do not have a lot of achievements to point to while they spend so much time doing drugs. Filmore does not comprehend the concept of a race. Instead Filmore wants to take it at his own slow pace in Cars #6. Some people might find that funny. I find it annoying and obnoxious. Make something of yourself, stop being a parasite on others.

When we bought Cars #6 over a decade ago it cost us $2.99. I know of a few comic books releasing in this day and age with the same amount of content and the same price. Most have gotten a bit worse. I wonder how good of a price was Cars #6 back in the day. I am starting to suspect it was a bit high. Probably due to the Disney licensing. Cars #6 continues the storyline in an one shot kind of a way.
