Cobra Commander #1
SCORE: 53
Thankfully I had the $4.99 to purchase a copy of the Cobra Commander
#1 comic book. I will admit I am not very impressed with Cobra Commander
#1. I will get into that in just a little bit. The Energon Universe of
Image Comics is really different. The origins of Cobra Commander in this
comic books are on the really strange side. There will be spoilers in
this review of the Cobra Commander #1 comic book.
The issues families will have with Cobra Commander #1 are violence,
blood, bad language, and more. There is a lot of blood spilled in Cobra
Commander #1. I am a bit surprised this comic book received the thirteen
and older only rating. Cobra Commander #1 decides to use Cobra-La. Cobra
Commander is a scientist that is wounded when the people rise up. Want
to know the irony of that? Cobra Commander caused the rising up of the
people. Only has himself to blame.
Human life has a very low value in Cobra Commander #1. I was really
shocked to see Grunt in Cobra Commander #1. He is working with Cobra
Commander in this comic book. Megatron is also in Cobra Commander #1.
Cobra Commander is in trouble for using technology that is not based on
organics in Cobra-La. I find the art within Cobra Commander #1 to be
extremely ugly. There are some real shortcuts taken like blurry faces.
Cobra Commander #1 contains thirty pages of comic book content. There is
an Editor's page, some ads, and a page devoted to the next issue. The
credits can be found on the back of the front cover in the Cobra
Commander #1 comic book. I know Cobra Commander #1 is supposed to be a
limited run series that will only be five issues long. I will probably
continue this comic book to the end since it will be done after five
issues.
The blood is excessive in Cobra Commander #1. Ultimately there is more
blood in Cobra Commander #1 than most human bodies would contain. Why do
these companies go all excessive while claiming they are being
realistic. It makes little to no sense to me. Cobra Commander is
extremely manipulative and cowardly in Cobra Commander #1. He convinces
others to do bad things for him.
