Destro #1

I constantly try and review products based on the standards God provided for the human race. Does this entertainment reflect those precepts? Does this entertainment encourage active rebellion against God? Destro #1 is much better than the Cobra Commander comic book series I recently read. That does not mean Destro #1 is all unicorns and rainbows. In fact there are issues with Destro #1.

Destro #1 cost me $4.99. There are thirty pages of comic book content within Destro #1. Dan Watters also has a page near the end of Destro #1. There are also five pages of a preview of the Scarlett comic book series. The credits can be found on the back of the front cover in Destro #1. The issues families can have with Destro #1 are violence, blood, gore, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more.

There will be spoilers in my review of the Destro #1 comic book. We see Destro take over a country in Destro #1 with the B.A.T.S. robots. Cobra Commander is not very pleased with Destro doing this. Destro makes it clear they work together. Destro does not work for Cobra Commander. Tomax and Xamot are also shown in Destro #1. It is interesting to see more and more G.I. Joe characters appearing in these comic books.

Destro finds out that the B.A.T.S. will shoot any human in the face. There is no nuance to these robot warriors. They are not going to be side by side with humans on the same side. Destro also realizes that he can use this country to legitimately sell weapons to those that need them. It also draws attention to Destro which could be a major problem going forward if you know what I mean.

Destro is attacked near the end of Destro #1. A bomb does not go off near him and it seems like he knows who is attacking him. Destro #1 ends nicely and gets readers interested in what will happen next. I enjoyed this comic book much more than the Cobra Commander one. I hope that continues in the near future. I am also very interested in this version of Tomax and Xamot.
