Dreamworks All-Star Kart Racing
SCORE: 80
That close to two hour live stream I performed of Dreamworks All-Star
Kart Racing sped by. I played all of the cups on the lowest difficulty
setting. There are multiple other difficulty settings within Dreamworks
All-Star Kart Racing that are much harder. There are twenty tracks in
Dreamworks All-Star Kart Racing and twenty racers. The final cup is a
sampling of other tracks.
Dreamworks All-Star Kart Racing is a total and complete kart racer with
a few interesting twists. First and foremost we build up an orb to get
some kind of a power. We also pick up items that grant us some kind of
boost or attack on the other racers. There are boost pads in Dreamworks
All-Star Kart Racing as well. In fact I got a trophy for doing so many
of them in the live stream.
Multiple family members can play Dreamworks All-Star Kart Racing
together and online. We earn different upgrades to the vehicles by
beating the cups. The same goes for characters that are initially
locked. We also get collectibles in each of the race tracks in
Dreamworks All-Star Kart Racing. We can find them in different areas.
Certain on track items open up a different path to racers as well.
We do launch different weapons and stop, slow down, or spin out other
racers in Dreamworks All-Star Kart Racing. The sound bytes from the
characters can get a bit repetitive after a few cups. I kept changing
racers to get a different comment from different racers. There are some
neat Dreamworks characters in this video game as well. Tracks are based
on the different Dreamworks franchises.
All in all I actually enjoyed my time with Dreamworks All-Star Kart
Racing. I honestly expected it to be hot garbage since that is the long
history GameMill Entertainment has. I am happy to be wrong about
Dreamworks All-Star Kart Racing. Families that are into kart racing
games will find some interesting ideas within Dreamworks All-Star Kart
Racing. I just wish the jump was a bit better in Dreamworks All-Star
Kart Racing.
